Review: SuperiorLifeEnergy Orgonite Cone

Orgonite Cone in Nature

The orgonite cone that I received from SuperiorLifeEnergy came as a huge blessing to me. At the time, I was still dealing with the aftermath of pink eye, and was absolutely ecstatic when he asked if I’d like to test and write about his orgonite.

It has helped out tremendously, and I can’t thank him enough! For the most part, my eyes are cleared up. It’s just the occasional blahs. I recently had a chakra cleaning/healing session, though, and have been told my eyes are blocked. (Aside from the 7 main, there’s also minor chakras.) So, now that I know there’s still a blockage there, I’ll be programming my orgonite to specifically target that blockage, instead of just healing the symptoms.

Basic Orgonite

For those unfamiliar with it, orgonite is an object that is usually made from a 50/50 mix of metal shavings and resin, along with quartz crystals. The ratio of metal to resin, however, may vary, as well as the crystals and other objects included. The most notable quality of orgonite is the ability to reduce the effects of EMF (electromagnetic frequencies), which can have a negative affect on your overall health. Ever get that kind of zombie-ish feeling when you’ve been at the computer for too long? Placing a piece of orgonite close can help prevent that.

If you’re interested in the science behind this, you may want to click the image above, for further information.

What’s In It

Details of SuperiorLifeEnergy Orgonite Cone

Amethyst: This is perfect for opening psychic intuitions as it opens the third eye chakra. This means say hello to psychic dreaming, lucid dreaming, and random intuitions that assist in daily life. It also has the capacity to reduce, or even eliminate, a headache or migraine. Simply holding this crystal to your forehead or just squeezing it helps to transfer the energy to you. Amethyst is calming, protective, and highly spiritual.

Carnelian: This is a very happy stone! It’s a form of red agate, which can also be used to cleanse other crystals. Carnelian increases energy and stabilizes the chakras.

Hematite: This is awesome for stress reduction! Aids in eliminating anxiety and depression. Hematite has a been used to stop bleeding and reduce swelling in ancient times. This, however, has become lost knowledge. Excellent for grounding excess energy and negative thoughts.

Blue Kyanite: One of the stones that never need cleansing. Blue kyanite works primarily on the throat chakra, but also has the ability align all chakras during meditation. The best part about it is its ability to assist one with connecting with your guides and angels.

Seashells: healing energy from the sea

Quality / Craftsmanship

Bottom of SuperiorLifeEnergy Cone

This cone has such a wonderful energy to it. It’s smooth and calming, and has been a great help in healing my eyes.

The layers in this cone are lovely, and look amazing in the sunlight. No matter what angle I have it at, the amethyst in the clear upper part of the cone just lights up! The resin is fairly smooth, and crystal clear with some tiny little bubbles on the inside that also catch the light.

Although it doesn’t bother me, I feel it’s important to note that the bottom edge isn’t completely smooth, and the bottom of the orgonite is a bit rough, as well. There are small small bits of the metal curls that are sticking out a bit. There’s also some bits where the resin didn’t cover around the outside. This does not affect the overall energy/effectiveness of the orgonite.

Review: Noxicare™ Natural Pain Relief Capsules

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Noxicare Natural Pain Relief Capsules

I’ve honestly never been too comfortable with taking common pain relievers like Advil or the like. I’d just really rather go with something more natural. When the chance to review Noxicare Natural Pain Relief Capsules came up on Tomoson, I didn’t hesitate a second to request a bottle.

Noxicare is a blend of natural ingredients that have been used for centuries for relief of joint, nerve, and muscle pain. There were 60 capsules in the child-proof bottle that I received. They can be taken with or without food up to 3 times per day.

Ingredients

  • Alpha Lipoic Acids – antioxidants, increase blood flow to the nerves
  • Boswellia Extract – anti-inflammatory
  • Ginger Extract – helps alleviate muscle strains, arthritis, and rheumatism
  • Holy Basil Extract – anti-inflammatory, antioxidant
  • Rosemary Extract – for joint or musculoskeletal pain
  • Turmeric Extract – anti-inflammatory
  • White Willow Bark Extract – anti-inflammatory
  • Vegetarian Capsule (hypomellose, water)
  • Silicon Dioxide
  • MicroCrystalline Cellulose

Experience

My first test of the pills was with a leg cramp. I tend to get them often, unfortunately, and they can get pretty bad sometimes. I took the recommended dosage, and the cramp was gone in about half an hour. Two hours later, though, it was back. I took another pill. About half an hour later, the pain subsided, then returned about two hours later. This has pretty much been my experience with each time I’ve taken these pills.

Taking them regularly for a few days didn’t seem to help my mom out either. She has varicose veins that can be very painful, especially when there is a change in the weather and barometric pressure. They only provided her temporary relief, and she wasn’t impressed. Since this has been an ongoing problem for her for years, I was really hoping that these would help her out…

Neither of us seemed to experience any side affects, until we started talking about our crazy dreams. We each just thought it was just something weird going on, until we talked to each other about it. Then, we realized there must be something else going on if we’re both having nightmares. The common factor? The pills. So, we haven’t taken any since, and no more crazy dreams. I’m not really sure what the problem was. The ingredients seem fine. I guess it was just how the combination of them was working on our minds.

Opinion

They’re okay for just temp relief, but my mom and I need something stronger. I think, maybe, we would have done better with the topical cream. Seems like there’s more positive reviews for that. I have some pills leftover still. I’ll probably just keep those around for if I really need something. I don’t particularly like the weird dreams they give me.

Everyone reacts to certain herbs differently, though. So, if you’re looking for natural pain relief, this may be worth a shot. To find out more about Noxicare, check out their website: www.Noxicare.com

Orgonite Eye Healing Experiment

SuperiorLifeEnergy Orgonite

A while ago, I got pink eye in my left eye, and things haven’t quite been the same since. The antibiotics knocked me for a bit of a loop, and this cold, dry weather that won’t quit hasn’t been helping my eyes or my sinuses. I’ve been dealing with some redness and dryness that generally fades throughout the day, a bit of a stressed out feeling in my other eye, and almost daily (but mild) nosebleeds.

I’ve been eating and drinking what I can to help, and have been trying to keep rested. I wasn’t really making much progress, but some orgonite that I received from SuperiorLifeEnergy seems to be the extra bit of help that I needed. It’s been traveling with me around the house, and is left on the humidifier at night. I felt so stagnated with my eyes, but there’s been some definite progress!

And… I found out that’s without even properly programming it with my intent! Today (3/7/2014), I learned how to better use it for healing purposes. Instead of just writing my intent on a slip of paper and leaving it under the orgonite, like I’ve seen others do with crystals, I really should be meditating with it. So, after I finish the MarchKundaliniMadness challenge from TheGivingMom  on Instagram tonight, I’ll start meditating with it before I set it on the humidifier for the night.

This post will update daily, until I’m completely over my eye issues. So, keep a watch on this post!

Basic Orgonite

Orgonite is generally made from metal shaving and resin mixed in a 50/50, along with several quartz crystals. However, various crystals can be made, and the ratio of metal to resin may vary. There are many positive attributes associated with it, most notably the ability to reduce the negative effects of EMF (electromagnetic frequencies) on health. If you’re interested in the science behind this, you may want to click the image above, for further information.

My Orgonite from SuperiorLifeEnergy

This particular piece of orgonite includes: amethyst (can help or reduce migraine), carnelian (increases energy and stabilizes chakras), hematite (great for stress reduction, and has been used to stop bleeding and swelling since ancient times), blue kyanite (has the ability to align all chakras during meditation), sea shells (healing energy from the sea.

He’s an amazing artist to work with, and has been helping me so much throughout this whole experiment. I highly recommend checking out his work!

Experiment Time!

2/24/2014

Picked up my orgonite from the Post Office! It’s absolutely beautiful and has a very nice energy to it; very loving and healing. After taking photos, I told it my intentions for each place I took it, and basically treated it like a little buddy. What? Crystals have personalities. Why shouldn’t orgonite? I just feel better talking to it, okay?

I had woken up with eye gunk and a dry, red left eye. The right eye felt fine in the morning, but started to feel stressed out towards the middle of the day. Kept the orgonite near my computer for the rest of the night, then set it on my humidifier before bed. Had some trouble getting to sleep because of the eye discomfort. Slept okay.

2/25/2014

Woke up with eye gunk in my left eye, along with it being dry and red. The right one didn’t look too bad, and felt okay most of the day, until the evening came. Slept okay.

2/26/2014

Still some redness and dryness in the left eye. Right eye felt fine upon waking, but started to feel stressed out in the evening. Slept decently, but had a little trouble falling asleep because of the discomfort.

2/27/2014

Still some redness and dryness in the left eye upon waking, and some eye gunk. Woke up with the right eye feeling better for most of the day. Didn’t notice it feeling stressed until maybe an hour or so before going to sleep. I feel like I’ve been making progress!

2/28/2014

No eye gunk, but a little redness in the left eye. Right eye felt fine for the whole day. Didn’t notice it feeling stressed out until I went to bed. Couldn’t clear my mind, and I think that was affecting it.

3/1/2014

Didn’t sleep with the orgonite on the humidifier. Instead, I left it in the window with a bowl of chia seeds and almond milk. Woke up with a little eye gunk and redness in the left eye, and the right eye was fine. The chia porridge was about as good as usual but, man, did it give me a buzz! I had enough energy to flit around the house like a humming bird! Right eye still felt fine at bedtime, too.

3/2/2014

Went to bed totally exhausted and didn’t realize that I forgot to put the orgonite on the humidifier. No eye gunk, but the left one was red and kind of dry. The right one felt fine the whole day and night.

3/3/2014

Remembered to put the orgonite back on the humidifier, and decided to write my intention on a piece of paper and slide it under the orgonite. Some eye gunk in the left eye. Still a bit red upon waking, and felt kind of dry. Right eye is still feeling good, though. Slept like the dead. Not even my husband getting ready for work woke me up. Totally out cold.

3/4/2014

A little bit of eye gunk in the left eye, but it hardly looked red at all and wasn’t dry. Both eyes were pretty comfortable during the whole day, and feel a lot better. Slept well, but woke up around 6am totally energized, even though I think I only got maybe 5 hours of sleep.

3/5/2014

Went a step backwards. Both eyes were somewhat red and had eye gunk. Not sure if maybe I didn’t drink enough before bed, especially since I stressed my eyes out a bit when I got upset a little before bed. The left one has been a bit dry throughout the day, but the right has been fine. Slept well. Woke up around 7am, cleaned the gunk out of my eyes, had some coconut water to help rehydrate and went back to sleep until 10am. Both eyes were still a bit red, but no more eye gunk.

3/6/2014

Slept like a log and really didn’t want to get up. Woke up with a stuffy nose, scratchy throat, and dry eyes with a bit of gunk in the left one. I looked incredibly pale after my shower last night, and I’ve been cold. I think maybe that time of the month is on it’s way, and may have weakened my body enough to let my dust allergies bug me… Cleared up throughout the day, but I remained a little pale and groggy. Wanting to hibernate is definitely another sign that time is getting closer… If it is, I’ll be posting experiment logs on orgonite for PMS.

3/7/2014

Woke up with just a little bit of eye gunk in the left eye, but it was hardly noticeable without close inspection. Both eyes were a little red, but not too bad. I had a little bit of dryness in the left eye, upon waking, but it quickly faded. I feel pretty good right now (about 9pm). Going to grab some couscous with carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and a little bit of black pepper and olive oil and have a hot cup of AllergEase tea before I get started on catching up on yoga challenges and meditate.

3/8/2014

Felt pretty good in the morning. No eye gunk, and just a little bit of redness in the left eye. The right one started feeling a little funny towards the middle of the day. Could have been the cold weather affecting it. Seems like temperature drops aggravate it. I’m not sure if it’s the cold, pressure, or maybe the mold count. I have mold and dust allergies, by the way. Had some nettle tea, did my yoga challenges and meditated. Felt better, but super tired. Noticed a little bit of spotting. So, my period may be playing with me, too. It’s said that you can drop 2 degrees in body temperature during your period, and I have been cold. Topped off with the cold weather, it’s probably not the best for me. May try to research warm foods to see if that makes a difference.

3/9/2014

No eye gunk. Still had some redness in the left eye. Had a little bit of a weird feeling in the right eye again. I was out in the cold weather for a while, and it started feeling weird. Ended up having a leg cramp towards the end of the night, and started my period. Make some makeshift electrolyte drink and meditated for a while. I felt better, but really groggy and a bit cold.

3/10/2014

Still no more eye gunk. Yay! A little more on the red side, though, but not uncomfortable. I was doing pretty well with my eyes and period, until around maybe 8-something PM. It started off with another leg cramp, then menstrual cramps. Really didn’t want to try to meditate. It was one of those curl-up-into-a-ball-and-just-let-me-die kind of deals… Probably didn’t help that I had to finish laundry. Soaked my feet in herbal salts to help my leg, rehydrated, tried to at least concentrate on my breathing in-between laundry, and took my shower early. Curled up on the couch with a microwave hot pad thingy, tried to concentrate on my breathing and fell asleep. Woke up a few hours later from my cramps, reheated my pad, and went back to sleep. Was woken up around 3am by my leg cramping…

3/11/2014

No eye gunk, but still some redness. Not too bad with my period either, until around 3pm. Took an early shower and relaxed and meditated the rest of the night, until snuggles and a movie. A little before the movie, my right eye had started feeling funny. Kept my eyes closed most of the time, and it felt better. Fought around with my menstrual cup before bed, because I was having difficulty getting it back in right after emptying and cleaning it. Gave up and used a pad. Felt a little worse after all that, but slept well.

3/12/2014

A little dry and itchy, but no eye gunk. Still kind of tired from cramping and blood loss. I have no idea what’s with this month, but my period is heavier and feels worse. Can’t remember if I had a light one last month. Probably did, and now I’m paying for it, since that’s usually how it goes. Felt pretty good most of the day, then just wanted to crash around evening time. Sleepy, sleepy, sleepy….

3/13/2014

Woke up early in the morning with a leg cramp, but my eyes were doing pretty well, aside from being a little dry. Drank some coconut water to rehydrate, then got the microwave heat pad out and meditated a bit with it on my leg. Went back to sleep, once the pain subsided, then woke up a few hours later with it again. Had some salty tomatoes, which helped, and was fine the rest of the day. If you get cramps, chances are you need to replenish electrolytes. Coconut water, salty tomatoes, and lemon water with a bit of salt are all good for helping with that.

3/14/2014

The day started out alright, with just a little bit of dryness and itchiness. Around late afternoon, when I was working on trying to get all my tax stuff ready, my right eye started feeling stressed out. So behind in all of my yoga challenges and meditation… Period + tax season = bleh….

3/15/2014

Feeling better, but the right eye feels a little weird still. I think I stressed myself out too much trying to get everything ready for taxes. Plus, I didn’t sleep well at all. Kept waking up. Too tired to meditate, but to anxious I guess to stay asleep. And, with trying to catch up on my Influenster stuff, because the final survey is up and there has been no email when the final date for submission is, my right eye felt worse as the night went on.

3/16/2014

Feeling pretty good. No real issues in the morning or the rest of the day.

3/17/2014

Same as yesterday. I think I may finally be over this!

3/18/2014

A little bit of issues, but I think it mostly has to do with the cold, since the temperature dropped outside. Not really sure how that works on my eyes, but I think it’s safe to say that the orgonite has pretty much cleared me up completely. Woohoo!

Review: Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Received from Tomoson

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops are lozenges with a long history. Their stoy begins in 1870, when J. Herman Pine and his brother started selling 'Pine Brothers Glycerin Tablets'. They were created as an attempt to soothe his own sore throat. He determined that combining the natural soothing qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia could help soothe and ease the mild discomfort of a sore throat. Some natural flavoring and sweetener was added, and these throat drops were born.

I received numerous bags and a few pucks in three of the flavors to test out, all in a nice canvas tote bag. What you below are the Natural Honey drops. The bubbles in some of the pieces just looked so pretty that I couldn’t resist. Size-wise, they’re as big as a typical cough drop.

Natural Honey Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops

Ingredients

Assorted Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops

Natural Honey: Gum Acacia, Sugar, Honey, Corn Syrup, Glycerine, Natural Flavor, Sunower Oil, Caranuba Wax

Wild Cherry: Gum Acacia, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Glycerine, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor, Colored with Elderberry Concentrate, Sunower Oil, Caranuba Wax

Licorice: Caramel Color, Carnauba Wax, Corn Syrup, FD&C Lake Colors (Blue #2, Yellow #6 and Red #40), Gum Acacia, Licorice Root Extract, Natural Flavor (Anise Oil), Sugar, Sunflower Oil, Water

Overall, the ingredients are pretty good. Those with gluten intolerance need not worry. All of these are gluten-free. If you’d like to check out the nutrition facts for these drops, you can find them on the Pine Bros website by clicking the image of the three flavors above.

The only thing I don’t like is the artificial coloring in the Licorice flavor. I understand that most people expect black licorice to be black, but color doesn’t matter to me. I’d be happier without it.

Packaging

Each flavor comes in a bag or a puck. The bags have 32 drops, while the pucks have 26. Of all of my family and friends that tried these, they liked the pucks better. Since the drops in the bags aren’t individually wrapped, it would be nice if the bag were resealable, to keep the drops fresh and sanitary. With the pucks, you don’t have to worry about that, because you can just close them back up. Plus, they’re the perfect size for travel.

Flavor

Natural Honey: The honey flavor is a little mild, to me, but my mom thinks there’s plenty of honey flavor. It’s a bit like clover honey, and is sweet without being overly so. This is also the flavor that some of my friends chose.

Wild Cherry: This is the flavor that my husband prefers, but he says it’s not quite as strong as his favorite cherry throat drop, which is a kid’s lozenge sold in Germany. I, however, think the cherry flavor is pretty good, and is stronger than the honey.

Licorice: This is my favorite of all the flavors, as well as my dad’s. It’s the strongest of the flavors, and the black licorice seems to help somewhat like a mentholated cough drop does.

How Soft is ‘Soft-ish’?

It’s about the same as an old-fashioned licorice. You know, the somewhat hard stuff that you have to gnaw on for a while, not that soft Twizzlers stuff. Everyone that I had try it seemed to liked the consistency of it. I love it.

Effectiveness

The verdict is kind of split 50/50. While my parents and I like them to help with coughing spells and throat clearing issues, my friends with terrible coughs from a cold didn’t feel they were quite up to the strength they needed. I think, if you have a mild scratchy or sore throat, or you’re just having a random coughing spell, they’re pretty good. If you’re coughing to beat all, though, they might not be enough.

To be honest, nobody that I had try these actually had a sore throat in the amount of time that was given to review this product. Scratchy? Yes, but not sore. So, whenever anyone gets a sore throat, I will be updating this review. Meanwhile, if you have a scratchy throat, or you keep feeling the need to clear it, give them a try.

If you’d like to get some, you can find them all on the Pine Bros website. If you’d rather pick some up at the store, you can find out what stores carry them by clicking here. There’s also a Lemon Citrus flavor coming in 2015-2016! And… You can get free throat drops, if you’re an opera singer! Details here.

Review of OraMD

The Mouth Doctor OraMD

If you're interested in natural products for oral hygiene, you may have come across something called OraMD. It's an all-natural toothpaste/mouthwash kind of combo (well, as close as oil can come to toothpaste) that has only 3 ingredients: almond oil, spearmint oil, and peppermint oil. There's no flouride, glycerin, silica, SLS, GMOs or other nasties in it that can be bad for your health. Nope, this product is pure and simple. And, if you don't like it, there's a 365-day money-back guarantee (as long as you follow the set of instructions it comes with).

For those who are concerned with the health of their gums, this product has anti-bacterial properties and boasts the ability to kill the bacteria that cause receding gums.

Packaging

The 15 ml bottle came in a small box, along with a print-out of information and instructions. Information and instructions are also provided on the bottle, along with contact information and the manufacturer’s website.

Amber glass protects the oils from sunlight, which could cause them to degrade. The cap can be unscrewed to reveal a recessed dropper spout, which allows a drop through at a time. Should you choose to take it with you, it can easily fit in a pocket or purse, and is a little smaller than a travel-size toothpaste tube.

Ingredients

100% pure botanical oils of almond, spearmint, and peppermint

No nasties here. Although, it doesn’t really taste like you would expect it to….

Taste / Smell

The liquid is very minty and slightly… metallic. I have no idea why it would taste slightly metallic. It’s not an overpowering metallic taste, but it’s definitely noticeable. It fades after a little while and just leaves a minty-fresh feeling, which I’ve had last during my sleep and into the next morning, which was a pleasant surprise. After all, who wants morning breath? Blegh…

Of course, the smell is super minty.

Consistency

Don’t think of this as something similar to olive oil; it’s more similar to water. Be careful, as drops of this stuff can drip right off the toothbrush sometimes.

How to Use

OraMD Instructions

Experience

I started out with the minimum recommended amount of two drops and found that was way too much. Not used to the strength of pure spearmint and peppermint oils only slightly diluted by almond oil, it felt like my mouth was on fire. (You know how an Altoid feels? Double that... or maybe triple it…) So, I went down to one drop, and gradually worked my way up to two. It’s just something that I had to get used to.

Although I don’t have any gum issues, I do have a problem with getting canker sores often. Long before I solely used OraMD for testing for my review, I had switched to a toothpaste that was sodium lauryl sulfate-free, which did help. It seemed to me that switching entirely to OraMD further lessened the amount of canker sores that I would get, but it didn’t prevent all of them. Ones that did show up were cleared up pretty quickly, though.

As for cleaning my teeth, I don’t really feel like it did that great of a job. I kept feeling the need to add a little baking soda in for scrubbing, but refrained for testing purposes. Getting down towards the end of the bottle, though, I did switch back to my SLS-free toothpaste and just used the OraMD as a mouthwash, which seemed to work out better for me, and left me feeling cleaner. I like it as a mouthwash and breath-freshener, but not for brushing my teeth with.

Opinion

I love that it’s all-natural and free from flouride, GMOs, SLS, and other nasties, and it did leave my breath fresh for a long time and seemed to help my canker sores. However, the metallic taste makes me wonder, and the extreme tingle may be too much for some people. I’m not sure how I feel about using it for brushing my teeth. I just didn’t feel like I was getting everything off my teeth. Then again, I’m used to toothpastes and the foam that accompanies them.

I’m sorry to say that I can’t really comment on this product helped my gums, as there wasn’t any problem with mine before using this. If you’re thinking of buying this to help with gum issues, I suggest you check the reviews on Amazon first.
